The Radio and Television Program was established in 2010 as one of the programs within the Faculty of Media. It later became an independent program within the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the beginning of the 2013/2014 academic year, and later became part of the Faculty of Business and Communication.

The program aims to prepare and qualify graduates who are academically and professionally distinguished, enabling them to compete effectively in the labor market by providing them with the latest knowledge and advanced skills in radio and television production and related technologies.

The Radio and Television Program is founded on four main pillars:

  • Preparing graduates who possess specialized scientific and professional skills in radio and television production, along with a strong understanding of professional ethics and values.
  • Equipping graduates with a specialized academic and professional foundation through knowledge of ethical standards, professional practices, and methods of applying them in real-world settings, thereby ensuring the quality and distinction of program graduates.
  • Introducing students to the principles and skills of scientific research in the field of media, enabling them to conduct research applications that enhance their research capabilities.
  • Encouraging students to develop and excel through the production of practical programs and the conduct of scientific research that enriches their practical experience and prepares them for entry into the labor market.
