In cooperation between the Deanship of the College of Business and Communication and the Deanship of Student Affairs at An-Najah National University, an exhibition of community projects and initiatives by students of the Leadership and Communication Skills course was inaugurated. The exhibition was supervised by Dr. Firas Al-Nasr and Mr. Mohammad Al-Daqqa, as part of a series of activities aimed at strengthening students’ role in serving the community and linking academic courses with practical application.


The organization of the exhibition comes within the context of the University’s commitment to its vision and mission of contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the goal of quality education and the goal of partnerships for achieving the goals. This is achieved by supporting student initiatives that stem from the needs of the local community and by promoting the values of leadership and active citizenship.

The exhibition activities were held over two days. The first day took place at the Old Campus in front of the Zafir Al-Masri lecture halls, while the second day was hosted at the New Campus in the courtyard of the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The opening of the exhibition and the review of the initiatives were attended by Dr. Raafat Al-Jallad, Dean of the College of Business and Communication; Dr. Firas Al-Nasr, Head of the Digital Marketing Department; and Mr. Mohammad Al-Daqqa, Dean of Student Affairs, along with staff members from the Deanship of Student Affairs. During the exhibition, students presented their community projects and initiatives, providing explanations of their objectives, implementation mechanisms, target groups, and the expected social impact. The initiatives were also evaluated by the course supervisors according to academic and professional criteria.

The displayed initiatives addressed a variety of social and humanitarian issues, reflecting a high level of awareness among students and their ability to employ leadership and communication skills in developing initiatives with real and tangible impact.

For their part, the course supervisors commended the advanced level of the student initiatives, affirming that these projects represent high-quality educational outcomes that reflect students’ understanding of theoretical and academic concepts and their translation into practical initiatives that contribute to serving the community.
