The Faculty of Business and Communication organized a scientific lecture entitled “Ethics of Artificial Intelligence,” delivered by Ms. Lyan Al-Sayeh from the Business Intelligence Department. The lecture targeted students from the Accounting, Business Intelligence, and Social Media departments.
This lecture is part of a series of sessions aimed at enhancing awareness of AI ethics across all departments of the Faculty.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ra’fat Al-Jallad, emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence and the role of ethics in ensuring its sound and responsible use. He highlighted the necessity of preparing students for conscious and ethical engagement in a rapidly evolving technological environment.
For her part, Ms. Lyan Al-Sayeh explained that AI ethics have become a fundamental pillar across various disciplines, stressing the importance of building student awareness that promotes responsible use of modern technologies in a way that respects privacy, enhances transparency, and serves society.
The lecture witnessed strong attendance and active interaction from students across different departments, reflecting their growing interest in this vital and future-oriented field.
