In line with its vision to enhance applied knowledge among students and build their capacities in contemporary financial and legal issues, the Faculty of Business and Communication organized, in cooperation with the Palestinian Institute of Public Finance and Taxation, a training workshop entitled “Anti-Corruption Law and Its Supporting Regulations.”
The workshop was held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Old Campus.

The workshop was delivered by Mr. Abdullah Gharib Hamarsha, Head of the Complaints Department at the Anti-Corruption Commission. His presentation focused on the Commission’s mandates, the development of the legal framework for combating corruption in Palestine, mechanisms for reporting corruption, and whistleblower protection, based on official references and relevant legislation.

The organization of this workshop falls within the Faculty’s academic strategy aimed at connecting students with professional practice, enabling them to understand the legal systems governing the financial sector, and promoting the values of integrity and good governance as core learning outcomes of business and communication programs.

The workshop concluded with a rich interactive discussion that reflected students’ strong interest and their awareness of the vital role of combating corruption in strengthening economic and institutional trust.
