The course was delivered by Mr. Saadi Swafta from the Ministry of Finance, a specialist in Value Added Tax (VAT) law. His lecture covered the key components of the new law, related regulations, tax calculation mechanisms, risk allocation, categories of taxpayers, types of transactions, and the appropriate tax treatment for each category.

The session was moderated by Dr. Ghassan Da’as, Director of the Center for Economic and Social Studies, and attended by Prof. Abdul Nasser Nour, Head of the Accounting Department, in addition to several faculty members and interested students.

This course comes within the Faculty’s commitment to enhancing students’ tax awareness and linking academic knowledge with practical applications, in line with recent developments in Palestinian financial legislation.
