In a step that underscores its growing international presence, the Faculty of Business and Communication at An-Najah National University, represented by its Dean, Dr. Raef Al-Jallad, participated in the International Conference in FinTech and Development, hosted by The Greater University of Manchester in Bolton, United Kingdom, on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
The conference is held in partnership with several leading international universities, with the Faculty of Business and Communication serving as one of the main partners in developing and organizing this important academic event. This reflects the increasing international confidence in Palestinian academic and research expertise.
During his participation, Dr. Al-Jallad addressed key themes and contemporary trends, including Artificial Intelligence in Finance (AI in Finance), financial inclusion and the role of financial technology in promoting economic justice, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through digital solutions, the digital economy and entrepreneurship, and enhancing student readiness for the international labor market.
Opportunities for academic collaboration and joint research with British universities were also discussed, aiming to develop innovative programs in financial technology, innovation, the digital economy, and advanced student training.
