As part of its ongoing academic collaboration with Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), the Faculty of Business and Communication organized an international workshop titled:
“Entrepreneurship for People with Disabilities.”
The workshop was led by Prof. Thomas M. Cooney, Professor of Entrepreneurship at TU Dublin and Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Inclusion, and Innovation (CEBII) — one of Europe’s leading centers for inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Prof. Cooney presented pioneering international experiences in empowering individuals with disabilities to pursue entrepreneurship and explained how to create an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that fosters economic independence, social growth, and innovation through diversity.
The workshop aligns with the Faculty’s mission to promote inclusion, innovation, and social entrepreneurship in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and An-Najah’s vision of education-driven societal impact.
