The Faculty of Business and Communication at An-Najah National University, in cooperation with the Center for Accountability and Global Development (CAGD) at the University of Essex, organized a distinguished academic workshop entitled:
“Publishing with Impact: Strategies for Success in International Journals.”
The workshop was delivered by Professor Shahzad Uddin, Professor of Accounting and Director of the Center.
The workshop witnessed active participation from faculty members and graduate students and focused on:
The underrepresentation of research from Majority World countries in global journals.
The importance of formulating research questions relevant to local contexts.
Utilizing innovative methodologies such as storytelling.
Strategies to avoid desk rejection and enhance the discussion section’s value.
Effective ways to address reviewers’ comments professionally.
This workshop represented an important step in supporting researchers’ efforts to reach international publishing platforms and to strengthen the university’s leadership in the global academic field.
