In line with its mission to connect academic programs with real-world applications, the Real Estate Investment and Development students at An-Najah National University organized a scientific field visit on Thursday, October 16, 2025, to Rawabi City and the Jericho Gate project, under the supervision of faculty members.

The visit began in Rawabi, where students were welcomed by Mr. Mohammad Abu Rajileh, Director of the Sales Department, who introduced the city’s integrated urban development model followed by a guided tour. He emphasized the growing market demand for professionals in appraisal, real estate finance, marketing, property management, urban planning, and GIS. Mr. Abu Rajileh also commended An-Najah University for pioneering this specialization as the first of its kind in Palestine and expressed the company’s readiness to host students for internships and potential employment opportunities.

The second stop was Jericho Gate, the largest real estate development project in Palestine. There, students met Mr. Fareed Khawaja, Director of Sales and Marketing, and the project’s engineering team. They learned about the master plan, development phases, contracting processes with developers, and toured ongoing and completed projects, providing them with hands-on exposure to real estate project management practices in Palestine.

The visit concluded with a reflection session between students and faculty members to discuss insights and recommendations for future experiential activities.

Dean Dr. Ra’fat Al-Jallad affirmed that such field visits are integral to the Faculty’s vision of preparing graduates with both academic knowledge and applied skills that contribute to developing a modern Palestinian real estate sector driven by qualified national professionals.
