On Thursday, 27/2/2025, the Faculty of Business and Communication at An-Najah National University, in collaboration with the Arab Islamic Bank, concluded the “Pioneers in Islamic Banking” course, offered by senior managers of the Arab Islamic Bank. The course aimed to enhance knowledge and develop practical skills for students of the Business Department and the Islamic Banking Department. It ran from 8/2/2025 over six intensive sessions and witnessed high engagement from participating students.
Representing the Arab Islamic Bank at the closing ceremony were Mr. Rateb Atiyani, Director of Human Resources; Mr. Hassan Sabri, Director of Credit Department; and Mr. Fadi Abu Nabaa, Nablus Branch Manager. From the Faculty of Business and Communication: Dr. Raafat Al-Jallad, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Doha Al-Tanbour, Head of Finance and Banking Department; Dr. Firas Al-Nasr, Director of Business Department; and Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Nour, Head of Accounting Department.
In his speech, Mr. Atiyani emphasized that such initiatives contribute to developing professional competencies and enhancing innovation skills in the Islamic banking sector, providing students with a competitive advantage in the job market.
Dr. Al-Jallad highlighted the importance of collaboration with leading banking institutions like the Arab Islamic Bank to bridge the gap between academic and practical aspects, stressing that the faculty always seeks to prepare students to enter the job market efficiently and excellently.
The course concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants, confirming the success of the educational and professional experience, which opens new horizons in the field of Islamic banking.
