On Monday, August 18, 2025, the Faculty of Business and Communication Council held a meeting with the Global Rankings Unit, represented by Prof. Waleed Sweileh, Dean of Scientific Research and Director of the Rankings Unit, Engineer Fadia Hashaykeh, and Engineer Alaa Yaseen.
The meeting included a presentation about the various global rankings targeted by the university and the vital role of the faculty’s academic and administrative staff in enhancing the university’s standing. A new electronic ranking documentation system was introduced to streamline the tracking of faculty activities relevant to ranking requirements.
The meeting is part of the faculty’s broader efforts to build institutional data systems, enhance performance, and align with international accreditation and quality standards.
Dr. Raafat Al-Jallad, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that this meeting reflects the faculty’s vision of keeping pace with global standards and reinforcing the university’s presence in international rankings. He stated:
“We work as one team across all academic and administrative units to document achievements and translate them into tangible steps that enhance our university’s reputation locally and globally.”
Prof. Waleed Sweileh emphasized that global rankings are now a key benchmark for assessing the quality of education and research, and that the new system will significantly improve documentation processes. He added:
“We are confident that the Faculty of Business and Communication will serve as a model of excellence in meeting ranking requirements and strengthening the university’s global visibility.”
