FORMATION OF AN ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES AT AN-NAJAH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY


The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences has announced the formation of its first advisory board, which includes a group of business leaders, executive directors, and decision-makers from various Palestinian companies and institutions. The council includes: Dr. Ola Awad, President of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Mr. Jamal Al-Hurani, Director of Palestine Region at Arab Bank, Mr. Abdelhakim Faqih, CEO of Palestine Industrial Investment Company, Mr. Said Abdullah, Managing Partner at Ernst & Young EY, Mr. Murad Jadbeh, Director General of the General Administration of Securities at the Palestinian Capital Market Authority, Mr. Mohammad Al-Reemawi, CEO of Tameen Palestine Insurance and Chairman of the Palestinian Insurance Companies Union, Mr. Ibrahim Barham, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Saffad Group of Companies, Ms. Duaa Wadi, Executive Director of the Women Business Forum, and Mr. Mohammad Mansour, Deputy Governor of the Palestinian Monetary Authority.

Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ra'fat Al-Jallad, praised the formation of this council as a qualitative addition. He pointed out that the council aims to enhance the pioneering role of the faculty in the local and regional community, especially since the faculty is constantly working to develop all aspects of academic and research work in order to achieve its strategic objectives and make an effective contribution to the development and service of society. In addition, the council will strengthen the relationship between the faculty and the local community and enhance communication between its graduates and various institutions. Dr. Al-Jallad added that this council will provide advice and guidance to the faculty in matters of education, research, and development, and will help the faculty keep pace with the rapid developments in the world of economics and business. He also expressed his appreciation to all council members, emphasizing the importance of their role in developing the faculty and enhancing its role in serving the community.
