An-Najah National University is committed to giving back to the community and invigorate people's lives through different community and social initiatives. These include visits to children's homes and residences for the elderly, giving support to orphanages and participating in charity events.
On Tuesday April 19, 2022, a group of students from the Department of Social Work at An-Najah University implemented a social initiative, themed: “The Joy of Eid”. The initiative included a visit to the Department of Pediatrics at An-Najah National University Hospital under the supervision of the hospital’s social workers.
An-Najah students performed several activities to cheer up the Department of Pediatrics’ patients with music and laughter. Furthermore, the students interacted with the children through various activities, including balloon sculpting, and face painting, and other games.
