The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at An-Najah ‎National University, in cooperation with Seeds for Development ‎and Culture, invites you to attend a workshop titled: " the ‎Palestinian Reconciliation and Elections: Questions and ‎Answers".‎


This workshop aims to present and discuss a variety of ideas and proposals that contribute to overcome the intra-Palestinian divide and form a national unity government in Palestine. Moreover, it aims to foster civil peace, which enhances political partnership and supports the advancement of society by strengthening unity.

The participants are expected to participate in a serious and in-depth dialogue on the Palestinian reconciliation and elections, with the aim of finding answers to the following questions:

  • What is needed from Palestinians to overcome the challenges facing them?
  • Do elections alone actually ensure and pave the way to end the division and achieve national unity in Palestine?
  • How will the Palestinian national unity contribute to protecting the national project and facing the challenges that target it?
  • What is the role of Palestinian youth and researchers in ending the intra-Palestinian divide?

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, October14, 2020 at the municipality of Nablus's Public Library.
