The Department of Geography looks forward to achieve high level of teaching in both theoretical and applied Geography, and to be updated with modern technology used in Geography.

Mission of the Department concentrates on providing the students with the necessary knowledge and skills for better understanding and analyzing geographical phenomena, and suggests solutions for problems that the society suffers from, such as environmental pollution and climate change. Also, the department works on providing the students with skills of using instruments and software for data collection, management, and analysis, to be involved in spatial planning.
